Sardines in tomato sauce

Sardinas in olive oil

Ingredients
  • 4 cans of sardines in tomato sauce 5.5 oz or sardines in olive oil La Sirena
  • ½ onion
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of cliantro
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 diced tomato
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • 2 egs
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper of choice

Drain the sardine sauce. Mash them with a fork

Sauté onion, parsley, cilantro and garlic, when with a little bit of oil. When it is cooked add the tomato dices and turn off the kitchen stove.

Mix the mashed sardines in a bowl, adding the eggs and the breadcrumbs.

Make medium hamburgers shape with the dough.

Heat the oil and cook the hamburgers.

*Note: They can be served with rice, beans and salad.
