2 Cans of La Sirena Tuna in water

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup butter or margarine
  • ½ cup chopped onion (1 medium)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper 
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth 
  • 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables
  • ¼ teaspoon dried marjoram leaves, crushed
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar and American cheese 
  • 2 cans La Sirena Tuna in water, drained

In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender. Reduce heat to low. Stir in flour, mustard, and pepper; cook and stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly.

Gradually stir in milk and broth. Stir in frozen vegetables and marjoram. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Add cheese and tuna; heat, stirring gently, until cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy!
